The Cardinals plummeted back to reality in last week's 31-7 home loss to the Seahawks. Given how strong the 49ers' offense has looked in victories over the Rams and Dolphins, San Francisco should have no trouble winning this one comfortably.

José Quintana brings a 5.40 ERA and 1.51 WHIP into Chicago against a White Sox lineup averaging 4.8 runs per game. Colorado can help too, averaging 4.7 itself, while its relief staff owns one of baseball's worst team ERAs. We don't need fireworks here. If things play out normally that could get us home here on the Over.

Quinn Matthews has looked strong for the Cardinals so far in his young career, and I like him to l\keep rolling despite a tougher matchup. Milwaukee's bullpen should be good enough to piece things together against this slumping Cardinals offense.

It could be said that nobody saw the Saints coming this season, and they surprised a lot of us. However, I believe the same can and should be said about the Raiders. The difference is, only one of them comes with a field goal's worth of points at home.

There are probably tons of trends that point to the Steelers as home ‘dogs in this spot, but all that data would have been from Mike Tomlin’s tenure. He’s now in the studio with NBC, so that historical data is about as relevant as the head-to-head metrics from when Carson Palmer and Ben Roethlisberger were playing. As such, I have a hard time picking against Joe Burrow and this Cincinnati offense, paired with what appears to be a much-improved Bengals defense.

Watson looked passable last week, but it’s hard to find much confidence in that being a real thing considering what he has consistently put on tape the last few years. Meanwhile, Bryce Young has started to blossom under Dave Canales, and with Chuba Hubbard, Tetairoa McMillian, Jalen Coker and now Darren Waller at his disposal, he has all he needs to take advantage of a Cleveland defense that is 28th in success rate and 24th in EPA per play thus far.

Both teams lost last week, but the Lions have more upside here now back at Ford Field. Detroit is 12-3 ATS off a loss since the start of 2023, and they should be able to outscore a Jets team that ranks 29th in offensive EPA/Rush.

It’s clear who is the better team in this matchup, but Kansas City is playing its first daytime game of the season following two primetime games and going on the road where it has struggled. KC should win, but Miami can at least keep this somewhat respectable.
